About The Peak in Hastings

Open from 9am till late, Tuesday through to Sunday and 9am till 5pm on Mondays, The Peak is the only restaurant in New Zealand that offers spectacular panoramic views stretching across the Hawke(TM)s Bay region.


During the day, The Peak runs as a cafe and information centre for locals and visitors to Te Mata Peak Park, while at night the restaurant transforms into a three-course, fine-dining experience. With our luxury boutique Bed & Breakfast and courtesy van on site, The Peak is the perfect venue for a special Hawkes Bay wedding, stag do, hens night, cocktail party, business meeting or private function.
